Spectacle Lenses
When purchasing a new pair of spectacles, many people spend time selecting their favourite frame, but the lenses are equally as important. The lenses you choose will affect the quality of your vision as well as your comfort, appearance, and safety. Many think all they can expect from their spectacles is vision correction; however, your lenses provide so much more. At Feltham Eyecare Centre, we offer premium, high quality lenses to help correct and provide you with the most natural vision possible. A premium quality lens can correct your vision, protect your eye health and enhance the clarity of vision.
Most of the information you receive comes through your eyes and so it’s vital to protect, preserve and correct them by choosing the right spectacle lenses which best suits your prescription, frame, visual needs and lifestyle.
At Feltham Eyecare Centre we are Varilux Consultants and Optik Mizen Specialist Suppliers. We supply the latest digital lenses including Personalised Bespoked Varifocals specifically personalised to you and Enhanced Single Vision Lenses designed for intense lifestyles where you are constantly on digital devices.
Essilor Eyecoded Lenses:
Our Essilor Varilux and Eyezen Lenses are designed with Eyecode personalisation which means that your lenses are based on pinpointing the exact eye rotation centre that is unique to every person, delivering a truly tailored eye diagnosis that is highly accurate. The benefits of eyecode include:
- A lens that perfectly matches your eye’s true physiology
- Personalised lenses give you effortless vision in any direction
- Sharper vision and improved colour contrast providing HD vision
- Provides natural vision harmony which means less daily eye fatigue
This pioneering new technology enables us to pinpoint the exact centre of rotation of your eye. With this vital new measurement, the eyecode, we can produce a personalised, HD digital lens that is 5 times more optically precise, producing better vision in lower light levels e.g. driving at dusk or night time. There are a wide variety of lenses to choose from: single vision and varifocal lenses from our Varlilux range, to photochromic and transition lenses.
Specialist Lenses:
Being independent means that we are able to obtain lenses from lots of suppliers including specialist lenses such as Tokai 1.67 which is the thinnest plastic lens available meaning that they look great for high prescriptions. We also have access to Optimum Rx lenses which provide out of range specialist lenses including tints and budget ranges.
